Description :

The greatest battle of World War 2 in Yugoslavia was a massive Axis attempt to destroy the guerrilla Communist Partisan movement. After two years of free roam across the countryside, the Partisans found themselves under heavy pressure from combined German, Italian and local collaborationist units, resulting in their rout and retreat. However, the operation failed because the Axis were unable to achieve their objective: destroy the Partisan leadership and main body.
