hopefully they will exhaust the attack at the front and I can roll down their #'s before the final strike at their HQ's VH's. they're pushing light tanks on the south fringes of the line.

don't think the japs can maintain the pressure needed to claim any of the front VH's, so now its going to degrade into howlong it takes my M7's and commandos to reach the last victory hexs. depends on how many tanks they have left?

the battle pitched my way as soon as I could switch all my infantry to defend and maintain a boundry for my armor to excercise hooking attacks into their suppressed lines

think I'm gonna start a new thread with replaying some of the battles I fought to a draw or defeat, then maybe get a differant time and upgrade line.
A small adjustment in upgrading might allow a differant outcome.

I think we all can applaud your hard work and determination, Ruin. Even with the original premise long since fallen to dust, you kept going. I was suprised to see this was still going when I finally got back online. Keep fighting!

Thanks az I really hoped I wouldn't have to wait too long before someone realized I had finished this,, and I'm flattered that coincidents of your foruming absence didn't have you forget about it,, thanks again bud, hearing from a supporter like you makes the 1200 or so postings ALL worth it!! and please feel free to PM me and help me plot my tactics to replay my losses for an alternate ending if possible. I'm still waiting to see if VA shisthauser or any of the other loudmouthed Knowitalls have any accountability,or responcibility to comment on MY finished LONG campaign, when it was those same loudmouths that started the thread in the first place. SHOW ME YOUR CAMPAIGN SCORE SAVES,extreme challenge MY BUTT

I've been lurking in the background reading your posts.

Congrats on the completion of the war.

I haven't posted results, because I don't do as well as you guys, but I am running a pure canadian fight in the ETO.

Currently in the middle of the Desert under the command of the Brits, hoping to get a decent tank.

Right now, I'm afraid my own tactical ability has rusted down a good bit, I don't even have SP:WaW installed at the moment (for the first time in a long while). So you'd probably be best to avoid taking any advice from me an anything other than cars.

Save for the postings in the period I was out, I read the bulk of your long campaign. It was impressive, period. It also let me see the Canadians up close, since I never actually have used them in battle before (or even met a real live one. I've alsways wondered if they're like real people! :D) You probably should archive this entire thing somehow, cutting out the intermittant ramblings of people like me. It'd be one heck of a Word file.

I'm still around, still watching from the flanks, and giggling mockingly!

Riun T,

I'm not going to devote all the time and effort of posting AARs if nobody is interested.  I tried for several weeks to start a campaign AAR thread regarding the Stalingrad ENH campaign (using Enhanced 2009), but nobody was interested.

I'll just continue play my own private campaigns (I'm currently playing a Greek vs. Italian 1940-41 campaign, me as Greece, and a China vs. Japan 1937-45 campaign, me as China) for my own private enjoyment.

If there is an interest, then I have my 1750-point core already purchased and ready to go for that Stalingrad ENH campaign.  But until I see a definite interest, then that campaign is just going to sit on the shelf doing nothing.  Oh well...

Not to come off as too critical, but when you spend a multiple page thread picking your force again...and again...and again, interspersed with complaints about the mod you're using before going back and picking ANOTHER core force, people tend to move on.

Agreed. My question to you, though, is why did you wait until now to post your concern? You never made a single comment when I was practically begging for input in that Stalingrad ENH thread.

But I do agree with your overall conclusion. I reached the same conclusion probably about the same time you did...

I noticed a few other people were saying similar things, but the only response I kept seeing was picking another force.

I just can't believe how many hits this thread has gotten!! Gives me faith that this game still has a little life left in her!! SPWaW has been the finest brain bubblegum outlet of aggresion {keeps me from blowing up crack houses and meth labs!}that I've had the pleasure to experience. and I would love to see someone else try the exact same settings I did for another campaign, use any version or MOD you want to,use any core or nation you want, and use any assets in the game like PARAS,sabatours, naval bombardment, airstrikes,MINES,,,, anything u can and must use to make sure u can survive the WHOLE campaign.
And I would just like to see the end of battle map and the battle summary for each battle rather than turn by turn posting like I tried.
SO there YA go BOYS I challange anyone reading this to follow my lead and let all of us see how long u survive
by the way I saved all the final turns of all the LLRTV campaign so I could still post those if anyone were interested?
