For some reason when playing out a game now, the ball from the pitcher takes about 2 secs to reach the plate, and if the batter hits a HR, it takes 8-10 secs to reach it's final destination. It used to take about 1.5 secs or less for the ball flight.

my guess is you hav imported som ball parks that are non=standard size. Park imges MUST be 1024x768 in order to work correctly with the graphics engine.
