Do you have to have 10 pitchers on your roster?

I've tried 9 in my 1920 season and get an invalid roster message, so I assume that is the problem.

Thanks.

Any chance to change that requirement? In the early years 10 pitchers was way to many. With the new pitcher usage, my team was able to pretty much get by with only 8 pitchers in 1920.

That's good to hear!

You should be able to create 10-point-scrubs to bring your team up to 10 pitchers - the requirement is just that you have a warm body who claims his position is 'Pitcher', not that you have to use him.

I had a couple of scrubs and set them to mop up duty. I think 1 only pitched 5 innings. I'd much rather have an extra pinch hitter than the scrub pitcher.

Yea, this is the last piece of the puzzle with getting spot on time period-specific pitcher usage. I am looking at a few options, most of which seem straight-forward.

The best news with PureSim right now, is that the foundation is so solid and malleable that I am able to add new stuff very quickly without compromising the core engine.

This is the "fun" part for me :)
