In chronological order, the first is Dragoon 45s huge Peleliu scenario. The second is Wild Bill's large Iwo Jima scenario. Both of these are no-holds-barred and very bloody renditions of that horrendous combat in late 1944 - early 1945.

Neither of these are for the faint-hearted. You have air strikes, naval bombardments, and desperate ground action. The concentrated ferocity of 20th century warfare is right here.

I like Terrible Tarawa by Ken Baran. It is the best Tarawa scenario for any game. I downloaded it off the wargamer site. You cant beat WB's Iwo scne. either

Where can I finmd dragoon's peleliu scenario? What is its official title?

Thanks dje

I played that scenario a couple weeks ago for the first time in over a year...forgot where I put all those Japanese units and man did I take some heavy losses at a few points of the island!

Wow, sorry I forgot about that one, Orzel.  I think you may have sent me an unfinished version of your Betio scenario a couple of years ago, but I never d/l the finished product.

Maybe not in the ultimate category but there were a couple of Kokoda Trail scens at the wargamer a few years ago. I thought they were great.
Of course anything by WBW can be added to my PTO list.
Sadly WinSPWW2 is short of PTO scens.
