If you use a pitcher in relief for a long period of time (couple of season) can/do they lose endurance? I tend to use my young starters in long relief, but I think there should be a cost.

I don't know about that specifically, but I just had one of my brilliant starters (best in the league over the years) who is now OLD (37 or 38) drop his endurance from a 70-something to a 43 in ONE OFFSEASON.

So something's going on with that.

The guy was also pretty injury-prone though, so it could just be the cumulative effects of that plus his age.
