Status: offline 		It said in a thread that existing owners can get a 35% discount by entering a registration #.

So, I entered my serial # in the PROMO box and hit apply, but no discount.

What am I doing wrong?

Did you type your serial number in complete with dashes and try re-doing it a couple of times to make sure you had no typos? Did it give you any error message?

Status: offline 		You have to enter your serial number here (and not somewhere in order processing) in order to get a promo code. That's how it worked for me when buying AWD.

If you just do a "Froogle" search, you can get it even cheaper than the 35% discount. I bought mine for $23.70 (download version).
