Who the heck is Mace Brown? This is a 37-year old relief pitcher who played back in the 40s, and was picked up by my Pirates in August 1946. He's won a game in relief, and in his next outing, struck out three and walked none, holding a victory. This guy isn't a star. He's just doing his part to see the Pirates be successful. There are SO many unsung heroes in MLB's history.
