I am in the UK and I can't seem to reach the Matrix forums from the computer in my local public library. I can bring up the main Matrix site ok and every link from there works ok including logging on to the members area. However, when I try to visit the forums, I click on enter forums and then get a page saying that the page I requested is not available.

I have tried this on three different days and the result is always the same. Does anyone know why this is?

The library may have implemented some kind of site-blocking software. By their very nature, forums are vulnerable to hacking attempts - hackers can post something that looks like an innocent link but actually carries a malicious payload. I think that's the basis of a cross-site scripting attack but it's been a while since I was involved in any eComms security work.

Mike,

I am not sure that is the answer. I can connect to other forums (gamesquad, rugged defence, etc), it's only the Matrix forum that I can't reach. Besides, the page I get is not a warning from the system but the standard "can't find the requested page".
