Status: offline 		I own a legal copy of Gary Grigsby's World at War.

Or at least, I still have the disk and the manual.

I recently tried to reinstall it. The installer asked for a serial number.

Can anyone advise me where to find it? I wonder if I threw it away by mistake.

Status: offline 		If this was the retail boxed copy, then the serial number was on a bright yellow sticker on the CD sleeve.

Status: offline 		Dangit, then I probably threw it away. To save space, I put all CD's in books/holders, usually remembering to clip out the serial number and put it in sleeve.

Is there anything I can do to get a new serial number? Could I send in my disk as proof?

Status: offline 		If you registered the game in the members section, and are still using the same email address, you could have the serial number emailed to you.

If you had registered, you can go here http://www.matrixgames.com/members/login.asp and ask to have your password, and/or serial numbers emailed to you.

Unfortunately, if you lost it and did not register with us, then it's gone. We don't have any record of what your serial number was unless you registered it with us and we can't issue a new one based on your CD.
