Just a few questions. I want to make a small Nuke Air to Surface Missile so I assume (Bad Word) that in "Armor" you would chose Special, (that way Nuke Authority is required to fire) But I don't understand "DP Sub" Example what does the "38924" mean (I think it has something to do with the Damage Point Calculation so if a 91 is a Mk84 2000lb bomb then this is a really big nuke ( I want a small one so what numbers and how to figure them for say 10kt, 50kt, 100kt etc): The "Nuke/Surface" is self explanatory But what does the "50/70" represent? I printed out the manual and use it But Chapter 16.0 Platform Editor is written for someone with more knowledge than I and causes me to ask more question than it answers

Thanks, and Have a Nice Day

Roger

The 5 digits dp values represent a weapon payload.

So you´re missile carries the nuke xxxxx

take a look at the Asroc it is a Missile that carries a torpedo.

BTW I´m sorry about the quality of that chapter in the manual....

The 50/70 part means many things within 5.0 nm of the blast will be destroyed, many things within 7.0 nm of the blast will be damaged.

Thanks Guys

Was I right about what you have to do so that Nuclear Authority is required before lunch? Select Special for Armor!

Thanks, and have a Great Day

Nope, nice try though, Special does indeed refer to the armor.  If your warhead is nuclear (the DP field of the carrier weapon gets filled with the annex ID of the warhead), nuclear authority will be required to use the weapon.  As Rene suggests, look at ASROC weapons, or a Trident D5 for an example of how the items are chained together in the editor.
