I'm looking for a little advice. What are the most popular scenerios being played. I've been playing pretty steady for over a year and have only played PBEM a few of them such as FITE(of course),DNO, Bulge44, and Plan Martin and a couple others. Have really enjoyed them but would like to "broaden" my horizen and dive into other theaters and possibly time frames. I'm thinking about some of the moderns such as the Middle East and NATO-Warsaw Pact ones but would like some advice. I am very partial to the big ones .Also thinking about those that involve entire theaters such as War in Europe ,Inside The Reich, etc. from RD.

Modern - Nordic Light is one of my alltime favorites
WWII - Braunschweig - same designer as DNO - great as either side
I just started playtesting West Front 44 - this could get quite interesting w/a few small changes

I would like to try Nordic Light against someone. Due to strange reasons I like
Nordic scenarios. Is Nordic Light better than Trey Marshalls WW3 module covering Norid area?

I haven't seen Trey's scen yet. Pelle's Nordic Light II is quite enjoyable - which version is more balanced is open to debate Modern warfare at it's best - small # of turns - the Russians have to win quickly or die trying

I would like to try against a human opponent. Need to try against PO first.

This is the Trey scenario: Note, it has more than just Nordic region but the focus is Northern Europe.

I would be real careful in asking for modern opponents - probably the
fastest ass kicking in the world follows I have found (from painful losses) it's better to start as a defender and watch what you're opponent
does - remember always play a mirrored scenario

No worries, I would probably get my ass kicked in stone age scenarios at this point :D.
PO is a bit boring at times so I'll take that ass kicking if I must.

So anyone up for playing Soviets against me then(Ie wipe the floor with me)?

As stated in another thread, I'd try the various Korean War scenarios. :)

Send me a turn then :).

I am crap right now, haven't played TOAW in years.
I was hoping to play some of the Vietnam scenarios at some point but so far no go.
