trying to learn this very fun game, and would like to pbem so can anyone recommend a good starter scenario for a newbie?

North Africa's (I think it's called war in the med) pretty good if you take the Axis side. It won't teach you anything about production, but you'll get a big elsson in attack, defence and supply, and a fun game too.

Russia 1941 and Russia 1942 are good scenarios to start too i think.

Im playing russian 41 and yeah it doesnt seem too bad, I think Im getting a hold of it pretty well.

Steve,

I'm finishing up as the Russian, and am wiping the floor with the German AI, it's 1942 and I just took Warsaw! Next time I'll have to crank up the AI and see what kind of challenge it gives me. The early months were fun, since then however it's not so good. But at AI+ or ++ I'm sure it'll give me a run for my money!

Play it against russian AI on AI+ and i�m sure you�ll have a good challenge
