Just uploaded my sound mod to FBMax. Look for DreamTeams_Sound Mod in the unsorted section.

Forgot to include the readme file. Here it is...

--------------------------------------------------------------

DreamTeams Sound Mod

Here's my small contribution to MaxF. These are mods of my sound files. These include...

- More robust ambience crowd noise.
- More robust 1st down cheer with lingering excitement.
- TD with cannon blasts mixed in.
- More robust boos.
- Modified (decreased volume) hit and field voice sounds.

Some of these field sounds might be originals, but I included them anyway because I could not remember all which ones I modified.

You'll need to unzip these to your sound folder. But, make sure you make a copy of your originals first. Just in case you like the originals better and want to go back to them.

Enjoy.

-DreamTeams

These are offered free of charge. Use at your own risk.

Does anyone know of a good roof replacing company? After playing some NCAA football with Dream Teams mod, I used it for my AFL league I quickly scored a TD. The next thing I heard was cannons going off in the arena. They blew the roof off. I would like to sue Dream Teams for blowing holes in my dome. Thanks for such a great mod. Does anyone have the FSU chop song or any other school songs.

Therhino,

Glad to here you're enjoying the sound mod.

Here's a quick fix if folks want to play without the cannon blast TDs...

Copy sound file SND047 to another place and rename it SND048. Then copy the renamed file back to the MF sound file folder. Now you'll have TDs without the blasts. But, make sure to make a back-up copy, first, of the cannon blast one and put it aside in case you want to use it at another time.

Most of them you can download online. But, many are mp3 format so you'll have to convert them to wav format before they can be used in MF.

Here are two good sights to download almost any college fight song...

http://www.fightmusic.com/
http://www.fightsongs.com/

Here's one where you can get most of the pro fight songs that are available. (Remember the Oilers and Chargers fight songs). You can get them here...

http://philadelphia-eagles.net/fightsongs/fightsongs-index.html

Here's a place to get a free mp3 to wav converter...

Try to unzip to your 'sound' folder in the Maximum Football folder. Not sure why you can't copy unless one or several of the sound files are in use.

Hmm. That's strange. Just downloaded it and it worked fine, for me.

I think DONMVP may have tried downloading a file called 'soundsmod.ZIP'
It has a file size of 0

This is the link to the DreamTeams file

hahahahahaha, I downloaded both just to be sure
the soundsmod.zip is obviously empty !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dreamteams isnt empty and sounds really good,
havnt used them all (the volume down ones are no good for me, I am partially deaf)
but the extra loud & extended cheers on firstdown & the touchdowns are just fantastic.

This whole game is getting so much better around
seems we all put something in that were good at (sounds, uni's, stadiums etc.) and the end results are great

Thanks DreamTeam

Sorry Dream Teams, I wasn't very clear my question is how do I install the fight songs? I can't move them from my media player. I thought you could just download the song and move it wherever you want, but I guess not.

You should be able to move the audio were ever you like
the file isnt located in media player, it will be where ever you downloaded it too on your pc,
move it from there to where ever you want it.

Mykal is correct.

Also, if you want to replace a file, say the 'defense, defense' cheer (SND053.wav), you'll just need to rename the file you want to use to the name of the one you want to replace. Then copy over it.

You'll can also mix it into certain sound files in orde for it to sound right (ie: my cannon blasts with cheers). You might also need to shorten the song so that it is the correct length the game is expecting, or fade it so that it does not abruptly end. Most cpu systems come with sound recorder that will allow you to do this and then mix it into your sound file.

When I click on the song I want it loads my media player and plays the sound instead of giving me the option to download. I thought it would give me the option to download, but it doesn't.

while your sound file is playing in media player
click on "File" in the top left hand corner
then click "save as"

that should let you save the sound file
