Welcome owners and observers to season 1 of the World Coaches Football League.
I have posted a VERY basic website here:
http://www.geocities.com/gary_l_sorrell/WCFL/
Download the league file, go to your teams roster page and hit 'Add Player', you can view the draft pool that way.
Please create a Team Profile and hit Export, name it after your team and send it to me. As soon as I have them all, I will run the draft.
Season 1 draft will be 45 rounds. Once it is complete, I will upload the league file so you can set your training camp numbers and we will then run camp.

Dont pay much attention to your teams info, stadiums, capacity, facemask, playbook, etc....I just entered junk. We can correct it all later.

Thanks for the info Thomas.
Whenever you want to send the profile, go ahead.

Profiles are fairly independant of league files anyway, as long as they are set for the proper roster size.

Ours is 45

Yea, 45 man roster, 45 round draft. Which means it will pick everything on your Team profile.

Oh I hope so too
I like to run test games (practise sessions if you like)
having the uniforms makes it more interesting to look at

EDIT: I could use the constants file that will be used also.... to make my practise sessions realistic

No Rutland County, England. Home of RAF Cottesmore, and more importantly, No 1 Squadron.

If Mykal can move to Canada, I can move to the UK

Cheer's, thanks for that

spent the night running through Hacks playbooks to see which one suites my style of play
never played American rules till now

Excellent Job Hack BTW

Think I've found one that suites me
now just need to migrate all the plays in just that book
so I can tinker a little and add my own situations

Still quite some way from me
around 80 - 90 miles away
perhaps not much when viewed in terms of the size of America
but for us Brits thats about a quater length of the country

The Farmers Union now knows your location
and a massive search is on for a missing farmer at least thats the story I'm hearing

It's A-OK with me to share my unforms.

I was spot on with the Rutland Weekend Television comment then.

For those of you not in the know, it was the tv show that spawned The Rutles and this ditty...

Kewl, love the air base

and Dean Windass photo on the scoreboard
a really big soccer hero in the city of Hull
his goal put Hull City in the premiership and what a strike it was too

EDIT: just emailed you a WCFL Ball to look over
Spalding are waiting league approval before mass production

Hows that for chance
from sheer luck you picked one of the biggest Hero's in Hull City History
what more Windass is Hull Born and Bred
which certainly makes him an even bigger Superstar in the eyes of Hull Soccer Fans.

Just noticed you added the WCFL logo on the front of one stand
excellent, I love to see league official stuff, kinda adds more realism.
3 bonus points for you

Yea, me too. Makes it less generic.

I layered the stuff over the brick texture using Overlay....looks like somebody kinda quickly painted it all on...what I was shooting for.
Havent made a 3D fan stadium in a while, it was fun.

Oh Yer, I agree very nice
I like it alot

and logo's yep they really do the job for me
I tend not to use overlay and such but I agree that will do it for ya'
I just dont like the bog standard tools that come with PSP
I have thousands of extra's (plug ins) on mine which are much better tools

But hey....... of course I would...... Mr Graphics Maniac
I really should learn to kewl off a bit,
instead of always diggin my brain for better ways to do this or that.

And on that note,
I'm adding a little WCFL section to my site
(to put the ball and such stuff on)
if you want my heading graphic and or slogan......
take 'em Gary.... All yours man, help ya'self

for that matter anything I do for WCFL you can just have/take it
consider it yours Bro if you want what ever it is...

For the most part, the standard PSP stuff has always been enough, but I probably would enjoy messing with new stuff, like a kid at christmas.

Is there a particular place for PSP users to hang out, find plug-ins, etc?

And that logo on your WCFL page looks great.

Yer funny aint it,
I always seem to have better idea's the 2nd time around
I'm sure its the same for you too with stadiums
I'm wishing I'd held off on making the league logo now
I'd have rather meshed the two idea's together (their in my head, I may do it anyway just to show you).

PSP, oh jeepers yer man tons of places to hang out with fellow PSP'ers
My Misses actually runs one herself - she too has her own website
for the most part though, you wont find PSP hang outs as friendly or free giving as places like this
not alot of 'em are into the whole "Sharing and givng" thing & none give away their secrets
although their are plenty that are prepared to teach basic to intermediate stuff.

Plug ins...... that pretty much comes down too what you can find on your own
sometimes PSP sites will give you links to plug ins they found but again not often

On the whole a very tight bunch, with the odd exception (you met one already - outcast to the end )
