Welcome Osterhaut. Great game, especially if you are detail oriented, and if you happen to be very interested in this period of history. And don't get these guys started on playing  the AI or via PBEM, that discussion will go on forever

Hello MO!

Wasn't the IJN code for Midway MO? You should have used the handle "Midway"!

Welcome Mo and don't listen to these guys about WITP eating up your free time because it's no longer free, especially when you're involved in PBEM.

Welcome MO.  I hope you go to the dark side (Japan) so you can look like this:  whenever you try to figure out production (like the rest of us).

Hola!! And I really don't speak Spanish. The stuff I learned from my Cuban classmates does NOT translate into a "family" board very well. I started to type "Abandon Hope All Ye Who Enter Here!" But, it's really not quite that bad. Just forget about getting to bed early, watching television, and try to learn to be very, very nice to your wife - once this game captures you like it has most of us. Make notes and paste them to your monitor about birthdays, anniversaries, appointments, flowers, and set a time to do the dishes. Remember, no man ever got shot by his wife will doing the dishes... even if it was an excuse to get back to the computer and see if you could save Java from the evil Imperialistas.....

MO was for the Port Moresby operation. Midway had MI.

I'm pretty sure that the location Midway was designated "AF" in the operation...

The name of the operation itself was still MI.
