Time to rewrite WW2 history once again

Uncommon Valor Scenario, Advance Supply and FOW, No auto supply and no area supply. (just to make sure I got it right )

Summer 1939:

Germany:

Not really a lot of possibilities to innovate on turn 1. Classic heavy attack on Poland and annexation of Denmark.

UBoat campaign starts with good results.

Be sure you are using the latest patch 1.020.
We will be using the new WWIII scoring for round 3/4 i.e. capture Moscow.

Enjoy

Japan Summer 39

I'm making a renewed commitment to the AARs, after the last couple of months during which I barely had time to play turns.

Not that there's much to tell. Japan takes Foochow and suffers uncharacteristically high losses in the process. But it's nothing too dramatic.

Fall 1939:

Germany:

We offer a last chance for reason to prevail and let Germany bring light to Europe for a bright future

Nothing much but our UBoat cruise continues damaging a transport in the process.

Japan Fall 39

Things are slow for the Japanese, as one might expect. We take a shot at the Kunming factory and miss. Assorted rail bombed. Two Chinese MIL that lingered within range of our HFs are lit up by a combined air and sea attack, but sadly nobody gains any experience from it.

Other than that, all quiet on the Nipponese front.

Fa 39 USSR+China

With the Soviets there is nothing much to report, railed an arty to E Poland to put some preasure on the Germans and hope our KGB steals as much R&D info as possible. The soviet inf attack and defense values suck.

With the Chinese I'm tempting the Japanese to come and find me deep in Chinese territory, will they have the guts?

I could use some WA supply in China, I'm running out of it, so don't be scrooge a511

Oups really??? my plans are foiled now

TLC and Yugoslavia invaded or should I say "liberated"

The Allies have the option of a counterattack... what will they do???

(Sadly enough I forgot to use my UBoat )

All quiet on the chinese front, for the moment...

Japan Winter 1940

Oops, posting out of turn. Rafael, you're too fast.
Japan has very little to report. All is quiet on the pacific front, except for a solitary burning Chinese factory. Until my air force gets up to speed there's really not that much to do.

No counterattack at all, cos the WA can do WWII w/o france but absolutely cannot do it w/o the isles ...
the WA special agents noted 6 GER trannies ... looks like the GER is dreaming of sealion.

Spring 1940:

Germany:

A bit early for Sealion but we did some training against Norway.

Right now the layout of the events is extremely in my favor. An early "Yugoslavia coup" just before "Russia border war with Rumania", now just got "Russia border war with Finland" just when I get my transports ready. It's written in the stars

The Royal navy is present in force in the central med and Malta is heavily protected but now we are ready to put some heat and soon to bring Hell there as The Duce maintain that a new Roman Empire is coming

France has fallen without too many losses.

The UBoats keep getting some success.

hmmm... interesting to see GER taking Norway, iirc that could be due to the political event that Norway is "allied leaning" and coupled with the Finnish border event, making it possible to make Finland axis ... in Su40.

if that's really the case, a very bad news for RUS ...

Japan Spring 1940

Very little to report, as Japan continues her peacelike ways. We're vying with Gandhi for the nobel prize for '40, I think. A few aircraft on totally diplomatic missions are shot down over Chungking, which seems overly aggressive on China's part.

A vacationing schoolteacher in New York stumbles across the US's construction plans, but the file is too large for this forum. Alas. We send it to our German allies for their reference.

WA Sp40

yeah, the GER got the share PP to build CAGs ... WA will prove that they are wasting their precious PPs

the royal airforce has done some brilliant air raid missions and damaged 1TB and 1HB (a lucky autohit by a CAG!!)
looks like the GER is really serious abt the Med ... interesting turns ahead.

turn to GER.

Summer 1940:

Germany:

The Royal Navy is more a deadlock than expected in the Med with the demise of 1 German TAC Bomber and HVY Bomber last turn. So we decided to wait for some Luftwaffe reinforcements and in the meantime to clear the skies over Malta. Our Fighter pilots were eager to avenge their comrades and did achieve a nice success. Our CAGS will show next turn what they can do but it will be too late to save Lybia unfortunately.

As a side action we did damage 1 more transports with our Italian Sub and destroyed one by Air Attack.

All in all a quiet turn.

The Japanese mostly watch from the sidelines. A Chinese factory is damaged and a rail head hit, but really there's little to report.

The russian bear is sound asleep, snoring. Hope this continues and noone disrupts its sleep

The Chinese can't rebuild the factory due to lack of supplies and infrastructure no rails to bring them were needed. They than k the Soviets for their effort in supplying them.

that's hurt in Malta ... but the RN CAGs made the GER pay in Sicily.

at the GER's request, the Med was opened up a bit for the italian navy.

Fall 1940:

Germany:

Scheisse... (something like s..t in German) not only that TAC is destroyed but it was the only Italian one... well at least he can't surrender anymore

That carrier in front of Cairo is quite annoying. Must say it's a logical move but somehow I forgot about it

Our HVY bombers tried for a lucky hit against hit but instead we smashed another transport. The one that went hiding in Malta is also swimming on the bottom of the Med. Good training

Before Greece could backstab us it was decided to make them understand the foolishness of such thoughts. Their pathetic navy was also preyed upon by our CAGS.

Our UBoats Atlantic Squadron did some more damage on the British transports.

The USSR does not understand such concentration of german troops in our borders, don't you get the supplies agreed in the Molotov pact.

Another Chinese Fac blown to pieces is under repair once again some, to our WA allies don't forget the Birmania road is open and waiting for your much needed help, it will pay off when Jp would be at war with the WA.

GER units have been deployed to the RUS border, looks like barbarossa in Sp41.

WA try hard to stop the GER NA campaign, but with the horde of GER airforce units in the Med area ... the WA navy has made a strategic deployment to prevent any unnecessary loss.

turn to GER

USSR + China Wi41

Our Secret Service has confirmed that Goebbles words are just a bug bunch of lies, if not how can he explain such a concentration of forces on the Borders of pacific USSR.
We demand an inmediate withdrawal of those troops

Also the japanese have concentrate 3 inf besides the 3 militia in Manchuria and have taken Licuchow concentrating 19 units there, they're probably going for India or if they get inland China then the USSR will probably be save from a double attack.

The Strategic situation doesn't look good for USSR, Germany has left the west poorly defended only militias are garrisoning West Europe. If war breaks some LL would be needed from our to be Western Allies.

Spring 1941:

Germany:

As adequately named a season, we did spring forward to satisfy Stalin. Our troops are not at Russia's borders anymore

We hope Montgomery will find the Atlantic Wall a little bit improved from last turn. Those MIL did their best to dug good defensive positions. It's interesting to see a Carrier doing blockage of Western France. Maybe the rebasing of the Bismarch there last turn has something to do with it Can't hope Anthony not to notice.

The surprised attack was launched against Leningrad to get the +1 bonus as other attacks looked with a decent ratio enough.

Kiev did received the worst pounding possible so we could send our tanks against Kharkov.

Rostov and Belarussia factories are in flames so no luck to retreat those next turn

The Black Sea fleet did ceased to exist.

Next few turns are going to be exciting.
