Was browsing through the US OOB the other day...saw the A-1. Damn. Now I may actually have to make a scenario just to put it in! Then again, I must resist the temptation to stick it in something from about...oh... '43 or so.

If SP:WaW were strictly historic, wouldn't the Shermans have 37mm cannon until '43 or so?

Aren't you confusing the Sherman with the Grant/Lee ?

The M4 Sherman was never armed with a 37mm gun. Until mid to late 44 all Shermans were armed with a medium velosety 75mm gun. Starting mid 44 they came in a 76mm version as well, usualy one platoon per company.

Well...anyway... I'd love to have an A-1 with wich to rain down some 20mm and napalm on this town in the 2nd scenario of WB's Utah - Rhine campaign! '

Don't know offhand if it's in the database, but a Tempest with rockets would have about the same firepower: 4x20mm and hardpoints for ALOT of stuff
