It is annoying having to divert a Carrier just to pick up my new
P-40Es to take them to Guadalcanal. We should be able to load
fighters, etc onto transports, at a much slower rate than loading
troops, and the fighters/bombers would have to be manually
unloaded at the destination port.

I think this may have been one of the feature requests during development, but never made it in. I'll mention it, if not for a patch then for WitP. Not sure how hard this would be to do at present...
