Fan Boy.

JFBs are all those who think the game should be easier for the Japanese and/or that the Japanese are too harshly treated (as far as conditions, forces etc are concerned). AFBs are all those who think the Japanese have it too easier and/or should be more harshly treated.

Depending on context, it can be a serious or ironic self-description (I tend towards JFB-dom, personally) or an insult meant to disqualify someone else´s opinion.

Hmm, I have a different definition of a JFB.  I call myself a JFB because I really enjoy playing the Japanese side.

You're a Jap Fan, Major Mike. A Fanboy is somebody without a sense of humour about this thing of ours, and that rules you out.

Now I don't feel so bad. I knew in context what it meant but I couldn't figure out the acronym. My Japanese is a little weak.

Hey, if you know that one, you qualify for the Blue Flame club, an offshoot of Geezers United. I found out about that organization on board the ship when I walked into the Missle fire control shack. I found a 6'7" FT1 laying on the deck with his legs on either side of the hatch watching a blue flame roll up his dungaree legs - obviously from the encounter we had the night before with dark Schlitz, pickled eggs, brauts and kraut on the beach in Newport. I think he was doing it out of self defense.
