Have you gone through menopause yet?

I think the reason that noone has anwered yet is that we aren't sure exactly what your question is...

Hotflashes?

I didn't know how many menopausal women are into AE, so it might be awhile before you get a response.

If you mean Hot fixes - check the Tech Support thread, should be the first post.

right my point exactly, its BURIED in that thread....
So, lets assume you are a new person to this forum, I am not. And you are looking for a fix... to flash your game up to the current level and you do not know where it is..
where would you go and why?

I think it was mentioned that Matrix is still on holiday, so the devs did a work-around for the crazies in here. I'm sure all will be tidy when the boys get back from the beach.

Well I guess you could start a thread called ... let me think...ahh yes...."where are the hotflashes?"

Then you could post some indignant reading messages...and eventually some nice threadian might point you in the right direction...

You guys can do whatever you want...

I agree...

Please JW, sticky a thread and lock it .

So that only you can place hotfixes and updates in it.

No way are new players going to find post 78 of the Hotfix thread years from now.

Years from now they'll all be incorporated in Patch 29, which we'll d/l through our neural implants.

You all do realize that the hot fixes released over the holidays were posted on the forum as a convenience to the players. Otherwise they would have had to wait until the holidays were over to get these important fixes.

The holidays are now over, everyone is back to work, and updates will again be released in the normal way.

Releasing on the forum turned out to be a real pain. I suspect the support team will be less willing to make such an effort in the future.

Yeah, I did. I posted yesterday about Matrix being on vacation. I didn't have any trouble finding them and am grateful for the effort.

I agree totally. The hotfixes weren't that hard to find (and others were quick to point them out to the locationally challenged) so it was only a minor inconvenience for having the access to the latest fixes.

Please accept the gratitude of the silent majority and I hope you will still consider this method for important fixes in the future.

Don, I think I understand your feelings.

But, please, don't let the few with the "loud" and sometimes not so well phrased postings disturb you too much.
The vast majority here, I am sure, appreciates your (and Joe's and Andy's et al) efforts very much.

On the other hand, if and when people get so upset when they cannot find that piece of information they seem to need so desperately - isn't that an indication how good it is what you (and Joe and Andy et al) have done for all of us?

Thank you and best wishes
Rainer

I appreciate the fact that they were released ; I am wondering why hotfixes are not stickyed and closed. I am sorry if this seems to be a critical take, I apologize to all concerned for my apparent lack of knowledge or insensitivity for raising this question.

ok two issues
one the fixes
We all appreciate them thank you
Secondly,  forum ettiquite, I apologise for not clearly asking in a polite manor where the HF where, and would like to remind those who took cheapshots at others that these forums are here for us to help one another...
So, enough of the hostility !
And yep, I will start...
please forgive me anyone I offended in the above posts, I do not like to have to ask for something  Ishould be able to find and perhaps vented my frustration, calling hotfixes hotflashes....
