The green scan range is different in each zoom level. This happend when i was zooming in, in each zoom level the circle moved.

Also, qued something for my constructor and it stuck to its place while the planet kept moving seperating it from the station it was building..

Which version are you playing?

The issue about the constructors detaching from a planet they are building at is supposed to be fixed in the patch which was released today. I didn't try it out yet, though.

I have read a report about the scanner display under zoom a long while back and never heard about it since.

I have this same problem with the scanners using the latest patch.1.4.5.

I've had a similar issue with bases in 1.0.4.5. On most zooms it is OK but there is a spot where it slips off the point quite a distance but then re-appears as you keep zooming.

The green circle has always acted kind of strangely from what I've seen. I think it only updates it's position every once in awhile. When I capture distant starbases that I probably won't use, I scrap them right away and that circle will usually stick around for a good while afterward but eventually it disappears.
