This was a big mechanical looking thing made out of household rubbish - the teeth are made out of mice

A rope swing we found - me (I didn't go in!), Cathryn and Megan (both of whom did - albeit with a bit of help from their annoying father!)

Lady (my Cavalier King Charles), and wild ponies (there were loads running around Dartmoor). The foal isn't dead...it was a hot day and it must've been all tuckered out!

Great scenery, I spent some happy summers on Dartmoor as a wee un   Just watch out for the unexploded mortar rounds in places

Wild ponies, sheep and cows roaming free, all great until you get stuck behind a flock of sheep wandering down the middle of the road or a cow decides to have a snooze in the middle of the road.

Great pictures Judge.

I'm at work and could not look at all the pics. What are the domes for or what all do they enclose? Sort of remind me of the forest ships in Silent Running.

We have something similar (I think) in Galveston about 110 km south of me, except they used pyramids. We have a rainforest pyramids, one for essentially penguins and seals and the use of the last one escapes me...

Looks like a great holiday.

Looking forward to mine coming up the first week of July. Might even take in a Cubs or White Sox game.

Speaking of July, I've always wondered what the British called the 4th of July...
"Darn It We LOST Day" ???

Just joking guys!

Regards all,
Rob

They're called Biomes and they house different climates...well 2 really. One is a rainforest climate and it's EXTREMELY humid. The other was a mediteranean/californian climate. Both show plants and forna which is found in these climates.

It was an experience and worth the money.

British call the 4th of July...erm...4th of July - it appears you lot are more excited about it than we are upset by it
