Status: offline 		I am currently using a 16-9 Acer and have AE in beautiful full screen mode.
But in a few months I would like to replace the computer.
Has anyone had success running AE on an Apple Laptop, particularly a Macbook Pro 15"or 17"?
I ask because I need to see the objects on maximum display because my eyes are not that good.
I could use Windows XP or Windows 7, but would prefer Windows XP as it is a smaller, lighter, faster operating system.

All advice appreciated.

Status: offline 		I have a Macbook Pro 17".
If you use Bootcamp (it is included) you can install Windows. I use XP; AE runs perfectly on the system. No problems whatsoever!!

Status: offline 		Someone even got AE running under Linux with WINE.  Win XP running on the Mac is virtually identical to running on any other hardware, though the laptop keyboard has a few differences from hardware built for Windows only.
