There will be no fighting withdrawal. LOL Sorry, once the blizzard hits, and he breaks your line, it gets horribly ugly really quick. Remember all those "rifle div retreats" and loses 4,000 troops? That will be your guys. Trust me, been there, done that. I have had div that did not even get attacked all winter end the winter with 9,000 troops down from 17,000. The winter is just down right mean. Unless your guys are falling back to level 4 forts. The fatigue you get from even sitting still during the blizzard is horrible. Prepare to see attrition shoot from 16,000 per turn to about 100,000 per turn. Not trying to deflate your morale, but speaking the truth. The winter I basically survived, I did 5,000,000 casualties before blizzard, so I think I hurt the Russians enough that she could not manage, but still turned my southern border to swiss cheese. That is where I suffered my 2 break outs. Once that happens it was horrible. I held in the north in the 3 hexes along the coast, and along Pskov river line. AGC was along the Dneper. I halted all advances in Sept and just dug in tight. Pulled back everyone from all gains. Was really, really hard to bust the AI lines once 42 offensive took place. Best places are a town, level 4 forts, 2 German div (mountain div best) stacked and where the AI cannot get more than 6 units at you at a time. He gets 9 on you, and it will hurt.
