Hi guys;
After over a year, I guess I am back to the WITP forums... For almost 4 years I struggled in a mighty campaign as the Japanese empire against my determined allied opponent, and then, when the campaign was over, decided to move to lighter wargames for a while. But, as they say, WITP is WITP, and once you've played it, you can't really erase that fully immersive experience from your brain. So, I've just bought Admiral's Edition, and I'm ready for another epic campaign (scenario 1); as the Allies this time.
As mentioned, I am currently living in Hiroshima, so there might be a turn delay if I end up playing an american opponent, but as it seems somewhat unlikely that we would play more than 1 turn a day, I dont think it will be a big problem. I would prefer all of the historical options ON or OFF, such as may be the case (such as having unreliable USN torpedoes, Fog of War, etc etc. I am willing to play either a 1 turn per day or 1 turn per 2 days game with or without a historical first turn. I am looking for a tough, experienced opponent who is interested in a fairly long-term game, not just playing for a few weeks and then quitting.
