I just purchased OAW in July 2012 from Matrix. The help "about" states that my version is: 3,2,29,27 Large Map Version

1) Do I need an update?
2) Will an update make any of the scenarios that come with the package not function?
3) Will an update make current games not work right?

There is an extensive list of scenarios available with the Matrix package but more is always better. There is a list of community scenarios on Matrix with many updates etc., but not as extensive as I would have thought.

4) What is the best source for new scenarios?

I am just starting to get the hang of how to get the most out of a turn. I've got a lot of non electronic wargaming projects going but I still may be looking for an opponent soon.

Download the 3.4.202 patch at :

http://www.matrixgames.com/products/317/downloads/

The patch will not make any scenarios 'not work', but it is recommended to not use New Turn Order Rules or New Supply Rules with old scenarios.

You can search for lots of scenarios here :

http://www.the-strategist.net/RD/scenarii/browse_scenario.php

Some are included with the game, some not. Check version numbers.
