I heard theres a way to save a "Green" map as desert. That way when vehicles move they make dust clouds behind them. How exactly is this done and are ther any large premade dusty Eastern Front maps? I'd apreceate any advice from any of you veteran map makers and thanks in advance. Commander Klank

The Gold Beach scenario has its map sazed as Desert, I think that was Wild Bills doing becouse I cant remember doing it when I made it. All you go to do is switch the tile set to desert and then save it. I normally useing 3 tile sets in any map im doing so it dont make for any problems. As for if any one els has done this im not sure.

OK, Their are 5 tile sets in the game. You will see them when you first open the editor, They are Summer, Winter, Desrt and the other two. You switch the tile sets by just clicking on the one you want to use. Say you are working on a map, you exit to the main screen in the editor and then click on the Desert tile set becouse you want to use something in it, you then just go back to the map editor screen and do want you want with this tile set and change back to the one you were useing before if you need to. Just watch what you are doing when you are doing this becouse you dont want to do something like hit the random map genarator botton or exit the editor and lose all your work.

Go into the scenario editor, hit "load" in the map editor, and scroll down the list (you'll have to go through about 4 screens before you get to the pre-made maps)and you will find 2 desert maps there made by Wild Bill! Anytime you are making a map in one mode, say "summer", you can exit the map editor and choose another mode, such as "winter", to add different effects, such as patchy snow. Alot of neat effect are done this way. And Drake is right, it's easy to exit by hitting the wrong button, so save often. Don
