Playing with Allies I went matching the events of the battle of France.

So early May'40 almost the whole of the Maginot line is in the hands of the Germans. Not sure how but it's like that.

It should be fairly easy to force the French to garrison the whole Maginot Line with decent troops as I did playing the French. With INF Corps at Lvl 2 or even 1 you get strong enough units till the real battle of France would start.

Now the interesting part is that the German army seems to be happy to drink the captured French wine in the line staying there for weeks with a few troops here and there fighting inside France.

Why??? well I have no clue but I guess it demonstrates once again how poorly the AI is designed.

See for yourself.

The AI didn't even bother to take Strasbourg and the French don't even have a start of sort of a defense.

And this is supposed to give me the feel of a WW2 in depth simulation

Frankly with this game I go from surprises to puzzlement to bewilderment to total shock.

Sure, but you'll have to state to me clearly what seems obvious

How do you want me to send it to you
