Ahh, music...

Kudos to the gentleman who composed the music in this game. I think it sets a cool atmosphere while playing the game.

Bet you'd never see anyone comment soley on the music in this game. :)

However, there are three tracks that kinda bug me...they're a bit too "70's" for me, while the remainder of the music is of the caliber of those found in many war documentaries (specifically, UV's music reminds me of the National Geographic documentary about Robert Ballard finding the Yorktown If you don't have it, you should get it. Very well done documentary.)

At any rate, I took the liberty of substituting three of these "70's" tracks in the game with music from the movie Midway. If anyone of the fan sites up would like to have them, email me or post here. The file is zipped and is nearly 35 megs.

SPI's "Pacific General" had good music too, but the soundtrack was too short. It'd be nice if WitP had a decent soundtrack, but I understand that the disk/memory hog would be huge. Still, nothing like "Guadalcanal March" to really rub it in when the Allies are bouncing back.

You should ask Spooky if he would host them on his site. That's where all the fan made mods of the game are located.

I'd certainly be interested in a new batch of music. I long ago turned off the music that comes with UV; I like most of it (especially the Japanese tune), but a couple of tunes got old. Something new would be great.
