How do use the obsolete early war FBs.

cannon fodder to hold the line until something better comes along

Keep as fighters and put them within range of the front line. Sometimes they might disrupt German support and especially interdiction attacks.

Always use a high morale biplane instead of a low morale more modern fighter; eventually the low morale will increase as long as you keep them in reserve and they will be useful later. Let the good stuff die another day
