Ok, things are clear but if I use pgup or pgdn and zoom in further the ships and bases get very blurry. Is this normal?

Yes, the Page keys are allowed to zoom you in closer than the art is really intended to support. It's allowed, but it won't look great.

One thing to add at 1920x1080 at the most "normal" zoomed in those ships are pretty small. Sometimes it's fun to zoom in on the action but you can't really do that at this point, maybe DW2!?
