I would strongly urge the testers to make sure that the changes to the level bomber accuracy in vers 2.3 do not accidentally effect dive bombers or torpedo bombers.

The following AAR clearly shows the problems in the current system. The A-24s and A-20s here had about the same fatigue, were flying from the same base (PM) and the A-24 pilots actually were more experienced than the A-20 pilots. Yet the A-24s did not score a single hit while the A-20s scored 4 hits.

Air attack on TF, near Gili Gili at 17,42

Allied aircraft
P-40E Kittyhawk x 22
A-24 Dauntless x 14
A-20B Havoc x 11

Allied aircraft losses
A-20B Havoc x 1 damaged

Japanese Ships
AP Canberra Maru
AP Batavia Maru
AP Tokai Maru
AP Ceylon Maru, Bomb hits 3, on fire, heavy damage
AP Boston Maru, Bomb hits 1, on fire

Japanese ground losses:
Men lost 47
Guns lost 2

Attacking Level Bombers:
4 x A-20B Havoc at 1000 feet
4 x A-20B Havoc at 1000 feet
3 x A-20B Havoc at 1000 feet

I definitely wouldn't want anything to change the way dive bombers are handled.

Thanks

I know its been disavowed numerous times, but i'm still thinking that the level bombers are once more dropping multiple sticks of bombs again, hence part of the problem is that they are getting more "rolls" than the dive bombers.

You could test this by editing a scenario and giving one plane group an obscene amount of bombs as their loadout. It would quickly be obvious if they were getting extral "roll" for those extra bombs.
