Hi,

please have a look at attached Save. Just start it and see the intruders drop their dumb bombs on the industry buildings.
The dumb bombs from the Intruders are taking out only one or 2 industrial buildings.

Recognized the changed behavior with 972.6. It persisted with 972.7 and is reproducible. In earlier versions the bombs
did a lot more effect.

Hello,

"In earlier versions" which versions? Can you do a comparison with an exact previous version at which you observed a significantly different outcome? Do you take into account the fact that unguided bombs now drop together in sticks instead of being individually targetable like MIRVs?

Hi Dimitris,

the behavior changed from 972.4 to 972.6. In previous versions of the game (ranging back to 1.11 and earlier) the strike mission with the Intruders wipes out 50% to 2 thirds of the Industry building complex.
The strike mission "Industry 2" has all the buildings of the complex on the target list.
So I fully rely on the mission automatisms here.
Not sure what has really changed. Perhaps all bombs are going to one building instead of being dispersed on all targets?
Honestly, I was assuming this is an unintended behavior change in the game as I was not recognizing added functionality in 972.6.

Not sure about the consequences. What would be the necessary change for the mission setup?
Have one mission per Intruder with one dedicated building on the target list?

Found and fixed, I made some impact & explosion altitude corrections which accidentally affected dumb bomb 'non-direct-hit' impacts.
