Status: offline 		New to the forums but I was wondering how do you insert a picture into "post" and how do you attach an attachment?

as they only come up once you have started a post then edited it, to add an image or picture etc

Status: offline 		No on the type in screen there is a line called file and then after it has a “click here to upload file” and a check box to embed picture. (See picture #4 on the above link). Neither of these are options for me in my response or in a new post.

Have not done a pic here in awhile. If I am not mistaken: You may have to write some text (can be just one letter or symbol) first, then embed your pic (only one pic at a time), edit as needed afterwards.

Status: offline 		I appreciate the above suggestions and help. The "file" line with various options does not show up on my post entry box. Perhaps I am restricted because I have not posted a lot and there is some threshold I need to pass.

correct, each post has to have a subject and at least one letter as a topic header etc

Status: offline 		I just figured out. “Fast Reply” does not give you those options. It would seem only “Post Reply” gives the option to embed or attach. Thanks for the help.

Status: offline 		And while you are at it I like to use Microsoft Paint to edit screen shots before making a post. I upload the picture to the web site of my ISP then link to it in the post.
