stop Win 10 from forcing me to confirm I want to launch the program EVERY time I launch it?

Some programs asked me the same thing, but not lately. I think it was on my laptop. Distant worlds does....GP

I have Win 10 and I do not get that warning when I open the game directly from the shortcut to the game .exe file. However, I DO get it when I click on the shortcut that points to "autorun.exe" - the game Menu screen that offers the Editor and Manual as well as the game.

The answer might be to put Matrix.com in your list of trusted sites, or the equivalent list for software companies, if there is one. Try looking through the Control Panel section on security features.

Consider turning off UAC. You need to know what you're doing though.

Hans,

Check the compatibility mode you are running it in (right click on shortcut - compatibility tab). I get this message in some XP modes. Windows 7 no message. Game runs fine for me.
