The only things we have are their strength and a numbered icon to show if they've been upgraded with Anti-Aircraft Defense. But these are both rectangles at the bottom.

Can you post a screenshot as that might help?

Bill, I don't know how to take screen shots, but my explanation is that, for example, playing the Axis the city of Warsaw has a blue box with a number 12 (supply value) and next to it a blue circle. As I have not yet developed the AA research, I assume that the blue circle tells me I have not upgraded the city AA. Right?

At the risk of being pornographically explicit, when you've got your subject in the middle of the screen hit the Print Screen button on your keyboard.

It's usually located directly above the insert key, up and to the right of the large backspace button.

Close the game and open a bitmap somewhere on your computer where you're likely to find it again.

Open the the bitmap file and click on Paste (which will probably be somewhere in the upper left of your screen).

The blank screen will will replaced with the image from your screenshot.

Poke around in the upper left of your screen and look for the 'save as...' function (it's usually next to 'save').

Save the file as a jpeg and give it a catchy name so you can find it again.

Close the file (and make sure you've saved).

Now that you've got a screenshot, you need to get it into your next post.

Troll around the internet looking for free image-hosting sites.

They come and go and change their features, so what's good one year may be awful or non-existant the next.

I'm currently using Imgur, which isn't great but makes fairly good quality image saves and generally does what I need it to do.

Assuming you decide to use Imgur, open an account and upload the jpeg file with a catchy name.

This can usually be done by dragging and dropping, which makes the whole process much easier.

When the file finishes uploading (it can take up to a minute) if you click on the caret mark on the upper-left of the miniature version of the image you'll see several sharing options.

The one you want is for forum bulletin boards.

Then all you have to do is copy the bulletin board line and paste into a message in a thread in this forum.

After you close the message the image should appear and you can go back and edit in some text.

When I use the Upgrade tool, a blue circle does appear for those Majors that have researched AA, and the blue circle has a zero in it.

But I've not so far been able to get it to display a blue circle with nothing in it.
