I have some big problems when playing steel panthers.
The problems happens after playing SP for a while. The program dies and returns me to win xp. I have tried to delete "holder.txt" and redirected the shortcut to mech.exe but i doesn´t solves my problem.
The technical stuff: Latest direct x, Win XP Pro, 1.8 GHZ and 1024 Meg of RAM and Geoforce 3 with latest drivers. New Bios update and 7.1 version of SP.

Someone with same problems or anybody already solved this?

Never had problems with XP and SPWaW....
Do you have any background programs running? If so, try closing them and see if it helps. Also the latest DirectX might be the culprit...I doubt there's ever been a DX version that wasn't broken when it was released :)

Roll Back dx to 8.1

Ive had lots of problems with lots of my games with 9.0
