I played Warplan Europe and never really understood the convoy screen. I spent 10 or 15 minutes staring at the convoy screen as allies in Warplan Pacific and realize I still don't understand it and have no idea what to change or do there.

Can anyone point me to a tutorial or video or some help with this screen? For example when you start a game as allies or as axis what do you change here and why?

Page 24 of the manual.

Top panel shows on the left which country has what and how much they can transfer
Once you create trade the lower left panel shows what is being transported.

You can ship then X amount of PP and y amount of oil.

You also need merchant marines if it isn't over rail.

Check out Strategy Gaming Dojo's Let's Play Tutorial on YouTube listed in the 'top' section above. He starts his turn by making a trade agreement to send production and oil to Australia and explains the screen. Then try a trade agreement of your own and turn on the convoy route highlight and use the down arrow to go to each of the terminuses of the Allied routes to their overseas possessions. Then RTFM and do a YouTube search on it to see if there is more. I agree it seems bewildering but it is really intuitive once you get the drift. S G Dojo also explains the convoy escort system although I believe he may be a bit in error about it. For example, in my current game of Warplan:Europe as the Axis I stupidly ran out of logistics (Hitler had Funk and others shot as a result) and made a trade agreement with Italy to dump tons of production to them because they have plenty of logistics and I built a bunch of Alpini Corps to throw the Allies off Sicily. Great fun! Hang in there.

Oops, Alvaro posted just before I hit the button. Sorry,

Try this. It is a bit tedious but does explain in detail:

I had to laugh when I saw this thread as I thought I was in the World in Flames forum as this topic comes up a lot over there
