the guerilla event for the communist Chinese works perfect. Here is a screenshot of it. The partisan event for Sinking works perfect as well.

I'm using Gary's SFT images as well as other images for this scenario. I'm using Ormands NATO symbol images as well, though the mine and oil symbols are taken from Ernie's 1938 scenario.

Thank you to both Ernie and Ormand for helping me with the programming. When the Sinking partisans capture their capital city (which under Nationalist control is just a city) it will turn into their capital. Other events are for the CCP Chinese. When they capture certain hex's from the Nationalists, the CCP player can use a card that will place HQ's for them.
