So I'm optimizing t1 axis air with no FoW based on recent discussions here. When it lists enemy aircraft on base does that include damaged? Are all hit targets considered destroyed or damage/how would I know. If afterwards it shows 0 on base does that mean that some are just damaged or they were all destroyed?

the number shown is the number of undamaged planes at the base (ie those that can fly).

so a low number on a base that started with a high number is a good target for your ground moves if you can capture the base (as damaged planes are then destroyed as they can't fly off)
