Rumour has is that the French are developing a new battlefield bio-weapon. The story has it that, in a lab in an undisclosed location in the French countryside, work is being done on a new virus-based weapon. The new virus has the effect of turning anyone exposed to it into mimes:

Troops thus effected are unable to continue in combat and are reduced to 'walking against the wind', 'being trapped in an invisible box', and 'climbing invisible ropes'. No known antidote has been developed, so the use of this virus could be the ultimate bio-weapon of the 21st Century!
