Hi, I was trying to go though the SHP. file with the editor. But the list is kind of hard to go though file by file. Is there some place I can get a list of SHP files and what they are on screen. I would like to do some re-skinning for the game and would appreciate and help.

In the SHP folder you'll see 3 text files named 'Icon data list' (in v8.0 these are in the 'text notes' folder)...using the 'search' function in Notepad find the vehicle you're looking for. To read the entries, check out this example:

{25108,25109} //888.Churchill IV

The first number is the location of the hull icon (the 8th icon in Icon0251.shp)
The second number is the turret icon (the 9th icon in Icon0251.shp). For turret-less vehicles you'll see 'ERROR' in this field.
The number after the double forward slashes (//888) is the one you place in the OOB editor to link the unit to the icons.

If you're referring to the terrain icons (i.e.: TerXXzz.shp), a list of what each file contains is in the document created by RockinHarry (I believe the link to download it is still in his sig).

Does changing shp files affect PBEM play? I don't want to cause those security violations...

Not at all, you can change the shps all you want, however, your opponent will still see the same old ones, unless they too update theirs. If you add new ones into the oob editor, then yes, your opponent would need the oob's/shp files or you would get a sec viol alert, because you would've tinklered with the oob's themselves. As long as it is the same icon slot that was already used, you needn't worry!!
