What is the limits to the size of an Air Group ? Is it based on where its located (size of airfield) ? Or its type ? Either way, can someone answer this ?

On the air group detail screen, the 2nd line after the Nationality in the upper left hand corner there is a number in brackets (XX) this is the max number of aircraft the group can contain.
