Seen mention of a patch but can't find it at support or download. Is there one available or is it just to the playtesters right now?

Yes it's out. Go to the support section and look at the very top thread. It'll be listed as Interim fix: 772 crash and Tutorial I believe is how it's listed. First posts though has both patches and the order to load them.
