I'm playing scenario 16 as the allies in version 1.21. Iv'e been suffering frequent CTDs during the combat phases. I used to be able to reload the save and then get the turn to run but this last time I haven't been able to get it to complete the turn.

I'm running XP with sp2 on an Athlon XP 2000+ with 512 MB RAM. An ATI 9600 XT video card.

Any suggestions from anyone. I'll be glad to email anyone the save file to see if it will work on your computer.

Thanks.

It can happen at any time once I end my turn and it enters any of the combat sequences.

Here's the message I get. See attached picture.

I have a similar computer and video card (I have learned to hate the ATI and in the future will go with NIVDA) as you only with 1000 MB Ram and my program also crashes during the execution phase. I completly solved the problem by changing the Sound file to nosound. I will try the 44 mhz patch to correct the problem when I can get to my friends to download it. It is a hefty file.
