I am planning on purchasing War in the Pacific in the next few days, but I have one question. I am going to go the digital download route, but I do not want to purchase the backup cd. What I want to do is burn my own back up cd incase I have to reinstall the game later down the road. So I am wondering if this is possible and if anyone has done this.

Yes, that is the idea of DD ... those with burners can make their own CD and not have to pay Matrix to do so hence the $10 price difference between DD and DD+CD.
