Have seen some excellent suggestions on how to train up both the Allies and Japanese bombers. Seems to work well.

Any ideas on how to train up the fighters for the Allies in the early stages of the game ?

How about the later stages for the Allied Fighters ?

You don't need to train them in the later stages and if you try to train them in the early stages they will become trained in time for the later stages. I wouldn't bother with that as Allied. Where ya from anyway KPAX?

Same way as bomber crews. Put them on ground attack. You will lose a few, but you can easily take 40 experience pilots and turn them into 60 experience pilots in about a week or so. Takes longer to get higher than that though.

2ndACR, thank you.

But, early on say Dec to Feb 42, there are not a lot of places that can have ground attack for those OZ and Allies.

Bring them up to DEI for ground attacks ?

You can move them into the DEI. Almost anywhere you can hit the Japanese and not get slaughtered by their air force will work.

You need to watch where the Japanese are using there a/c and where they are based. If you are playing against the AI, any CAP over an airbase will cause the AI to bomb the air base. It has a habit of ignoring air bases that do not have CAP up for some reason.
