Ok, so I'm not sure they're "new"...just the first time I've noticed them.

Using version 1.31. here:

1) Player ratings are NOT changing by the amounts listed under the "Ratings Changes Report" from the TEAM REPORTS screen. Not even close to the amounts, in many, many cases. Possibly most of the cases.

2) Situational bug: Top of the 11th inning with runners on 2nd and 3rd. Runner on 3B has 41 speed. Batter lines out to shallow RF. RF'er has 58 arm. So...the text says "Runner on 3B is attempting to tag up and score". However, it immediately goes to the next batter...the same two players are sitting on 2nd and 3rd, and there is only one out still (there were no outs prior to the play). So it recorded the fly out, but didn't follow through on the tag-up-to-score attempt.

Thanks. BTW, are you using a 1-100 ratings scale, or some other one?

Yes Shaun, I am using the 1-100 ratings scale.

I have noted this also. Usually in occurs whent the infield is drawn in and the outfield is in shallow. I have taken this to mean that the runner tagged, but when he noted that the ball was caught shallow, he changed his mind. See the jpg of a log that I attached to the report of a "0" distance flyout in the thread reflecting the issuance of beta patch 1.31.

You're right...my infield was playing in and my outfield was shallow...so that applies to my case as well.

Although if that IS the case, then I'd like the game to refer to that decision-making. That way I know it wasn't just "forgotten" by the code.

Yeah, a text feedback line "... but decides it was too shallow, and holds." would make a nice follow-through for that situation. Alternately - "He was just faking to draw the throw."
