If I start a league with 154 game season, but import a correct schedule in a year that had 162 games played, will the league play the 162 games or still only 154 ?

In other words, will the game allow for the expanded schedule as time goes on ? If I start with a 1903 league with a 154 games, will I be able to up it to 162 when the time comes ?

I know that in the past when I tried to import 144 game schedules into a league that I started with 140 game schedules, they were truncated.

I would start a league with 162 as the default schedule, then import 154 game schedules until you want to switch to 162.

If you import a schedule, the schedule overwrites your selection - permanently.

However, you can always import a schedule of the correct length, correcting the problem.

So, if you start a league and say '154 games', and then import the historical 1901 schedule, you will play 140 games, not 154. If you then import the 1904 schedule, you will play 154 games, not 140. If you then import the 1962 schedule, you will play 162 games, not 154.

Excellent, thanks. I was concerned about starting a career in 1903 with 154 games, and not being able to expand to 162 games when the time comes.

I've never actually played through the '61-'62 interface, but I have played plenty of associations which started in 1901 with 140 games, and successfully expanded to 154 games at 1904.
